The amount of vitamin D that you consume can determine the pace at which we will Lose Weight, or lose fat, especially in the abdomen, said lead researcher Shalamar Sibley School of Medicine in Minnesota.
The researchers examined 38 patients with excessive weight, and following them through 11 weeks. They held a special regime of diet that included 750 calories less than their average daily needs.
The results showed that more respondents lose weight when they consumed higher amounts of vitamin D .
“Our results indicate the possibility of a better weight loss of those patients who have reduced caloric intake and increase the amount of vitamin D in their diet. If you start to Lose Weight and have insufficient vitamin D, it is possible that this will adversely affect the ability of weight loss during reduction diets” explains Dr. Sibley.
However, she claims that this is the only observational study, and there is no provenlink between vitamin D and weight loss.
The next step is to conduct another study the same subjects that will get vitamin D in a controlled environment and studied as an addition to the standard regimen of weight loss in people with low levels of this vitamin.

However, it coincided that all respondents had low levels of vitamin D, which shows how this problem is widespread.
It is estimated that 36 percent of otherwise healthy young Americans are not even conscious that they lack vitamin D, whose lack of ties with many problems such as higher blood pressure, cardiovascular problems, kidney disease, and even higher risk of breast and prostate.
