Shopping burns 48,000 calories a year!
Women are able to walk 7305 steps in a single shopping trip.
Women finally have the perfect excuse for shopping without qualms. Experts have ruled: the shopping is good for weight loss! The average woman spends about 385 calories a week looking for the perfect outfit or everyday food, according to a survey among the British.
When you add up all the “trips” at shopping malls, streets and shops, the average woman walks 249 kilometers per year. Not surprisingly, most patients feel tired after shopping more than going to the gym.
On average, women spend weekly 4.8 kilometers running from shop to shop, for which they need two and a half hours, according to a survey conducted by the department houses Debenhams among 2000 British women.
In comparison, the stronger sex is not so crazy about shopping. The average man spends 50 minutes a week looking for a good shopping material, and during this time exceeds 2.4 kilometers.
Women are able to walk 7305 steps in a single shopping trip, which is equal to almost three quarters of the recommended daily number of steps to preserve the health and vitality (10,000). Shopping is truly a good way of exercising.
Researchers measured the average number of calories you burn during the women shopping: in three hours they eliminate 495 calories from their bodies (one Big Mac), and two hours shopping means 283 calories less.
If you are looking for a new replacement for the gym and you want optimal results, bring a friend in the next shopping .
