Myth 1: A high BMI means you need to diet
Fact: Body mass index is a good starting point from which you are moving on the path to losing weight, but remember that this index is not entirely accurate. It takes into account weight and height, but not muscle mass or bone structure. For example, bodybuilders index shows that overweight, but they are actually just very muscular.
2 Myth: Excess pounds is always a bad sign
Fact: As noted, obesity is bad for your health, but a recently conducted survey revealed that people with a few pounds more easily tolerate the postoperative period. They also suffer less from diseases of the liver and respiratory system and Alzheimer’s disease.
Myth 3: The end justifies the means, or crash diets to slim figure

Bulimia and anorexia have also negative affect on the body.Therefore, it is best to take a healthy diet and exercise, and slowly resolve excess weight.

Fact : Skinny people are not necessarily healthier, especially if they are smokers. And they can handle bad body fat, and suffer from various diseases. A recent survey showed that one in four people with normal body weight has a problem with high triglycerides, pressure or blood sugar.
Myth 5: Colon is not healthy
Fact: New research shows that although two people have the same weight, one may be healthier than the other. Most important is to live a healthy life and be in good shape!
And finally, remember, although you might have stuck with the loss of pounds, keep practicing because it makes the heart and lungs healthy.
